Steve Chalke's controversial book 'The Lost Message of Jesus' has sparked much debate amongst evangelical Christians. Chalke's views on the atonement theology and the fall out from this has somewhat overshadowed the rest of this book. For those of you who are interested in exploring and debating this subject of the atonement let me point you towards a debate hosted by the Evangelical Alliance on October 7th @ Emmanuel Christian Centre, Marsham Street, London @ 7:30pm.
