Holidays

It's my second day on holiday now. It's been a really busy last few weeks but I'm now trying to get my head around taking some time out. This is something I'm really bad at doing initially and then get really rather good at by the end of my break. I always seem to take a while to get my head out of the bustle of work hence I subjected myself to a day of getting all my Christmas shopping done yesterday. Today is going to be a bit more relaxing, I'm at the gym now (I am up to 7.5 mile in an hour currently) and am going to spend some time reading this afternoon.

I have been looking forward to having this break, it will be nice to spend some evening in my house and also catching up with friends who I don't see nearly enough of. My holiday will be interspersed with leading the Christmas morning service but that's really informal and should be quite good fun.

As consumerism grips the nation over the festive period I find myself getting more and more knotted up, but having said that if you want to send my an iPod it would be much appreciated.
