Easter

The Easter weekend has now passed by, it has been a good time of reflection and spending time with friends both old and new.

Good Fri was a nice quiet day with a joint service with Winchmore Hill URC. Part way through though we had a power cut which proved interesting. Sing hymns acopella was a really nice touch. Jo and me went for a walk in the afternoon around the lakes.

Sat was a 17 mile run in the morning, that was hard work. Football in the afternoon and then a drink with my mate Jon in the evening.

Sunday morning was spent reflecting upon Easter with the young people that come along to our church. Was a really good time, that group have come on so much in their maturity, social interaction and faith. Then had luch with mum, bro and the rest of the family followed by watching 'Saved' with some mates, quite a funny film.

Mon was a hectic day after going for a walk with people from church with a nice pub lunch, we then made the ridiculous decision to go to Ikea where we ordered sofa's for the flat, yes it was manic. Shot home and onto the train for drinks with Jon and Ellie in Covent Garden. Strange pub but good conversation.

Anyway, strange week coming up with schools being out and people being away. Want to try and get ahead in terms of prep for next term. Also need to spend some time working out how we can work on further developing our relationships with local schools.
