What's God been saying?

Was at my normal meeting of youth workers at n:flame on Monday. Andie was leading us in a study of Psalm 139 and as part of that he asked to think back over the last year and write down what we think God has been saying to us. He then made an excellent point, he said that we often hear stuff or are moved to do stuff for God but often move on continuously before actually processing and applying the former to our lives.

So what has God been saying to me:

- you are in the right place at the right time
- be bold, don't live in fear of failure
- it's time to move on beyond maintainance
- move on beyond theory and theology and be a worshipper (not to mean throw these others out)
- prayer should be first, last and in the middle. I am sufficient.
- you are not responsible for others relationship with me. (ie i can't convert people it's Gods job)

It's amazing thinking back and remembering Gods promises to me. Still working through a lot of this.

I know what you mean Lewis! When I thought about what God has been saying to me - It made me realise that the reason a particular verse has been running around my head was cos God was trying to tell me something. Andie that was a very cool M.M.M. (monday morning meeting)
