Philemon

Just finished reading Tom Wright’s commentary on the book of Philemon. Was really struck by the amazing reconciliation story of this small and not oft read book. Having someone contextualise the book for me was really helpful. I really enjoy anything by Tom Wright at the moment as he is so accessible but in a way that isn’t simplistic. Good stuff well worth a read. I’ve got the Ephesians and Colossians instalments lined up next.

Well looks like I’ve been stood up for my second meeting the afternoon. So frustrating, if I can mange to look in my diary why can’t others?!!!Hmmm. Anyway I’ll give him another 5 then I’m off home for a well earned (possibly) rest. Might venture down to the gym this evening as Jo is out at a meeting. Typical, the night that I’m in she has a meeting, well hey ho.
