back once again

Life has somewhat calmed a little recently which has provided me with some good thinking space. Unfortunately this hasn't materialised into anything of any real substance to blog about.

This week has further been eased by my lunchtime club today being cancelled due to the strikes and the school being closed and another cancelled workshop tomorrow. I hope to use this unforseen space wisely. I was in a school over in hornsey this morning helping to run an assembly and then back to back lessons around Easter. Wasn't really looking forward to these as i try not to do too much 'off patch' stuff but it was interesting to see how this C of E city academy school ran. After them forgetthing about the assembly and then remembering causing us to have to shorten it vastly the lessons went well (although a little bit too penal substitution for my liking-i through in a bit of Christus Victor towards the end)
