Bank Holidays

It's been great to have a few days to do some fun things. Jo and me celebrated our first anniversary on Sat (although the actual day was sunday) by going up to Centre Parcs in Elvedon forest for a twilight spa in their aqua sana. Nice time to relax and drink some nice wine and good cheese. We then had a meal with probably the worst service ever. We did have a great comedy incident in that Jo wearing her nice new shoes got blisters and had to take her shoes off for the walk back to the car. She borrowed my socks and squelched through the puddles in the forest for a mile back to the car. She owes me new socks.

Sunday i was teaching at church and then had Jo's parents over whilst her dad showed me up doing the DIY that i am so bad at.

Spent a nice bank holiday monday avoiding the gym by having lunch with Jon (best man a our wedding)and Elley. Ended by watching the family stone (chick flick-trashy film not requiring any thought) perfect for the end of a bank holiday.
