The Future's Bright, The Future's? Well it's sorted

Yes it's true, after many months of prayer, discussion, interviews and sleepless nights my future in terms of career and vocation are now settled. I was approached at Easter time by Winchmore Hill Baptist Church in N.London (completely out of the blue) about discussing the possibility of becoming their youth worker. This is the church that I grew up attending and also the church which Jo still attends. It was really mad as we were both prepared to move on to a new place but whilst we were at Spring Harvest (a rather frighteningly middle of the road) Christian conference/holiday God made it very clear to the both of us that this is where He wanted us to be. We therefore decided that I would stop pursuing other job possibilities and trust in God to provide all that was needed for me to take up this position. This was know small task as know job description or terms and conditions had even been discussed let alone agreed on. Anyway a few months and a number of meetings and discussions later I found out on Sunday that the decision was passed to employ me. It's great news and a really exciting and also a very scary opportunity.

Thanks to all of you who have discussed and prayed for me over this time.
