Friends Reunited

Had a really great night last night meeting up with friends from Ascension. With all the changes going on with each one of lives at this time it was nice to reminiss about past times. I was reminded during our time together of the fact that being in Christ means that we are all bothers and sisters. This doesn't just relate to the people who are nearby or even just those we speak to. All of us who are in Christ are a family which spreads across the globe and throughout time both past and present.

God has called us to different places and different ministries but we are all still inherently linked to each other as chosen members of God's family. That's a comforting thought in these changing times.

Late nights with friends are great but don't help my struggles to get up for the early morning prayer meeting that i lead on a Thursday morning.
