A couple of things

Firstly, had a busy day yesterday but mixed in with lessons, cafe's and meetings was decorating the church Christmas tree with the young people. There were some great moments especially when one girl turned to a one of our lads and told him that "we should have a red and silver theme" to which he replied "no we're not lets just put on everything that we can find" and that's exactly what happened. The before mentioned girl has removed herself from any responsibility for the look of the tree but the boys are very proud. See pic below

Secondly, i was horrified yesterday about what i saw after i had finished teaching a lesson yesterday at our local secondary school. Walking down one of the corridors i saw a huge bilboard/big poster thing advertising mobile phones. The school has obviously sold advertising space to 'T-Mobile' yes i will name and shame them. Is no place now sacred from the multi-nationals? I was shocked but i guess everybody has their price and schools i'm sure find themselves in a difficult position financially. Makes me angry though!
