Sunday

Was leading and preaching at church yesterday. It seemed to go ok and spoke to some people afterwards all of whom seemed to engage with a different part of the service which was nice to hear. We were thinking about 'the road to emmaus' and in particular why Jesus' identity was kept from the travellers? I even got away with a bit of group work without too many complaints.

Spent the rest of the day having one of my mum's proper sunday roasts (mmmmm) and then watched a real head scratcher of a film ('Happy Endings' with Steve Cooghan + Lisa Kudrow). Really was trying to get something that i could just consume but ended up having to focus very hard to keep up. I did enjoy it though.
