8 Years On
So I popped into Enfield Town yesterday to do a little bit of shopping. My brother has as usual requested that I pick up what I want for for my birthday (Sunday by the way). I love that and get to hunt for books and CD's. Anyway I went into woollies where I saw an old school friend Emma who I haven't seen since I walked out of those gates over 8 years ago now. Nice to see her and reminisce a bit. Scaring realising how everyone's life moves on, she is married and has a 2 year old son and is manager of woollies. It was one of those is it her or not moments but I finally plucked up the courage to ask and thankfully I was right and she also recognised me which saved embarrassment.
By the way I have picked up Gordon Ramsey's biography (for those who have read this blog for a while will know of my love for biographies, normally sport but I also love food. And a person with a foot in both camps just seemed ideal. I love his programmes and this book is fantastic. Already more than halfway through in just a few days.
CD's I purchased on very special offers were and here I show some diversity of taste were, Chas and Dave greatest hits, Muse - absolution and Sigur Ros - Takk.
