retreat

I am taking a few days retreat in August and need somewhere to go to. Does anyone know of anywhere fairly close to London (within a couple of hours), cheap and ideally with good walking or a beach? I will be probably travelling by train also so a local station would be helpful. I am willing to make use of my tent.
